steering rack
hi all
looking for a little advice on steering rack .I think the steering rack on my ssc stylus is a standard fit but not sure on the make or model
number I am looking to fit a new one as there is a lot of play in the one I have fitted at the moment . so can anybody tell me the difference be twine
the standard and a quick rack pls as its a quick rack I am looking to replace with. sorry if this is a silly question I think its from a escort mk2
but not sure ( how to id it wuold help)thanks regards ian

I doubt there is anything external that identifies it.
Just count the number of turns from lock to lock the steering wheel makes, go to Burton power website to compare, believe they sell three versions,
original and two quick ones.

Escort mk2 has 14 mm threads on the track rods mk1 has UNF possibly 1/2” ?

Pretty sure Rallydesign used to do a Quaife upgrade for an Escort rack
