different sierra front brakes
i realised today, whilst swapping wheels about, that not all sierras have the same front brakes. But, since the two cars weren't side by side, i
couldnt work out what the exact difference was. The caliper seemed to be bigger on the DOHC car than the older pinto items. But the disc seemed the
same.
Basically, i couldnt get 13" rims on the bigger ones. Anyone know the actual difference between the two? do the bigger calipers make any
differnce?
the only reason im bothered is that i was trying to sell one car on 13" wheels, cos i've not got enough 14" steels for all of them.
but i wanted the smaller ones for my car cos ive bought some 13" minilights (reps). meant that both cars im selling are gonna have a mix of the
available 13s and 14s!

I have a 2 litre dohc as a donor, the brake discs are 260mm dia vented discs. Other models seem to have smaller 240mm vented discs. Calipers are
different, 260mm disc version is slightly bigger with a bigger dia. piston
