Cortina Handbrake Cable's
used a cortina rear axle, (8" brakes) can't as yet locate a handbrake cable, all you boffins out there know of another that may fit, i need to use
the proper one-ish cos i welded brackets onto the chassis to suit the adjuster bit on the old cable off the doner, i could use that one but it looks a
"bit rough" to say the least.......

You might be in luck,i have a cortina MK5 handbrake cable as newish hanging in the garage doing nout!.
Or,brand spanking new allagro cables(pair)

think i'm in love, are the 8" and 9" brake cables the same ? where are you M8, as in what part of this planet do you live in ?

DOH!, the 8" and 9" cables are obviously not the same, 1 is 1" longer than the other!!

got a cable today, £13 incl vat, can carry on with brake re=furb now, thnx though bob for the offer.........
