Brake questions
Hi guys,
In a bit of ebay madness yesterday I bid on some ap 4 pot callipers to go on my Dutton. Ideal I thought, I need some 4 pots which arent gonna break
the bank and arent Princess ones. Upon doing some research, I found that the Princess callipers are made by ap...... Have I bought Princess callipers?
heres the link

I was told by the seller, that they fit over the capri vented discs. If they are Princess ones, then, I think I paid a bit over odds..... Still
they've got be better than the Girling T12 callipers with 8.6" discs I currently have.
What master cylinder will I need to run these callipers with the standard mk1 escort drums I currently have at the rear? I've got a mk2 Escort
Girling one currently.

Yep they are, and thats about the price they are usually going for now. They weigh about the same as the M16 caliper though.

Thanks guys. Are many people using these callipers? I take it the stopping power is better than with m16 2 pots?
Oh and I take it spacers are needed for the 2.8 discs, or are they already fitted?

Im using princess 4-pots. They don't fit vented discs as standard although alot of them have had spacers fitted. You will also need a 5mm spacer
to space the caliper off the upright. If you ring rally design they will sort you out.

Apart from the 5mm spacer will the bolt straight to the hubs?
