XR4 diff

am soon to mount diff in me viento, only problem is the bolts which came from me donor car are not long enough.(7" diff)
The flanges in chassis are wider than the diff, i know i need to use spacers to set diffin between the plates but where can i obtain long bolts-would 7.5 inch diff bolts fit ok and if so what car were they originally fitted to???

Hello Hector its nice to speak to a fellow Plymothian!
I don't know anything about Luego kits (I'm building a Tiger Avon), but do they not supply a bolt pack with their kits for the diff etc?
I believe Granadas and Cossies had 7.5" diffs, but if you're thinking of popping down to 'Vospers' for the bolts, be prepared to be disappointed.
You'll probably find 'the computer says no!..' Which is the response I got when trying to get mounting bolts for rear hubs and callipers.
There's a place on Exeter Street that sells all manner of fasteners and should be able to help with the right length bolts. I believe they're called 'Express Fixings'.
BTW, where abouts in Plymouth are you? (I live in Hartley Vale - down behind the Golden Hind pub.)

HTH,
Andy.

Not suprisingly, they're much cheaper than Ford!

Hope that helps,
James
