loads on ebay, but nearest to you is maidstone/guildford/woking/salisbury that i could see for sensible money. there is one in southampton for £345 but a bit much i imagine. also try adtrader, there are a few on there, but not my area so not sure.

Ned.

I found that anyone who spent money advertising their Sierra in Autotrader wanted more than £300 back for the car.

Best bet is Free Ads Papers, newsagents windows, basically cheapest adverts going.

Hope that helps

Mike

P.S. There is one for £150 in Newcastle, but it'll probably be a bit far for you

I heard that some dealers that offer min part ex allowance had to pay daft money to get scrap cars took away so you may be lucky there if they are not too busy.

I found mine after it had been parked up at my mates farm for over a year. Got it free with log book (thats all it was worth though as every part has had to be overhauled).

Buying a £250 - 350 one may not be too daft if it is in generally good nick with lots of money spent on it already.

Another way to find them is to drive around some back streets / council estates etc. If you spy one that hasnt moved for a while (or better still has a Police Aware sticker on it) knock on the door and make enquiries. Some women will gladly let you take it away as long as its gone before hubby gets back!!!

Alternatively get pally with scrap yard owner, tell him what you want to do and that hell get the shell etc back. My father did this. Paid £50 to get it dropped off and another £20 to have the shell taken away. Everyone was happy.
