1.6 capri axle ratio
can anyone tell me what ratio a capri rear axle is out of a 1.6

Hi Lee,
My donor vehicle was a Mk2 1.6 Capri, and the axle ratio data is as follows :-
Salisbury axle - 3.75 : 1
Timken axle - 3.77 : 1
Work-in-Progress: Changed to Zetec + T9. Still trying!!

Beat me to it, Dick, I have a mk3 axle from a 1.6, ratio is 3.75:1, it is the salisbury often known as the atlas and is reputed to be bullet proof as
regards power handling
