Droop and rebound

I am very interested in these
http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/viewthread.php?tid=35654&page=1#pid338814
But I am hardly at the stage where I can measure the droop obtainable with the top balljoint/wishbone fitted. What size should I be aiming for on the droop from the horizontal position of the bottom wishbone?
The shock brackets are not yet fitted so I have a bit of scope for positioning them to suit. At the moment when the bottom bone is horizontal the length required is 12 1/2 inch so I guess that only gives me 1 1/2 inch of droop Is this enough or should I just forget it for just now and wait untill the front bones are assembled and working?

get shocks longer than you need. i got mine then went to wide track and at zero droop with the spring preloaded by an inch of compression i still can't get the ride height right with the weight of the engine in!

New shocks requried before long

Ned.

I've read somewhere 2 inch on rebound and 1 inch compression. Maybe i'm wrong, let see if we get the right info on this one.
