MT75 gearstick knob

Simple one.....Anyone know how to get the f**ker off! I think the pinto ones just unscrew, but no luck with this one. Any ideas?

From another site:

MT75 pulls off (it can be a bit stuborn though) if you fail doing it by hand get yourself an adjustable wrench and open it just enough so it dont slip over the top, place it underneath the knob (but above the reverse pull up control) with some rag for protection and give "the wrench" a whack upwards with a suitable hard object (hammer springs to mind) and it should pop off
