Cosworth Diff

Hi, can you just change the stub axle's on a cosworth diff to the smaller flange size 100mm instead of 108mm, or are the internal splines different. Thanks Alan.

i dont think so, the drive shafts on the cossie are bigger and stronger, but not sure whether this effects the diff splines, are the cv's the same diameter?

I love Pinto's, even if i did get mine from P&O!

No, the CV's match the flange. Cossies have the "big" 108mm joints, pretty much everything else has the 100mm ones.

Not sure about swapping the stubs over, I don't think that will work though. Liam on here will know.

I can now answer my own question, because i have just done it, you can swap the 100mm from the 108mm ones, provided you use the one's off a Granada/ Scorpio with a LSD fitted ok, thanks for the replies.
