EP90 hypoid, no sawdust .

I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.

It's a bit far from Portugal to the local high street though, eh Joao?

plain non synthetic EP90 is what you want, around a litre iirc
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
retro car restoration and tuning

You should fill the diff with enough oil to just reach the filler hole when the car is level. This is about 1 litre. I bought 1 litre and put it all
in. Hypoid 90 differential oil is what Haynes says to use.

Is the Hypoid 90 ok for the LSD as well?

yep if you are talking about a sierra one, as the lsd is sealed and seperate from the main gear oil in there.
With the old salisbury plate diffs like the capri atlas ones, you still use EP90 but add an LSD additive which affects the way the plates work
somehow.
The additive is the stinkiest stuff you ever smelt, in a new sealed bottle it smells from 20m away.
