Cortina Front Brakes

Advice needed.

I have Cortina front uprights (and I hope, brakes)

I bougt some new pads but they do not fit as the are too tall.
My pads look shorter, like Escort mk2 pads.
Did they fit two sizes of caliper/pad to Cortinas and if so what do I need to swap to get the bigger pads. Calipers only or disks and calipers.
Next question will be does anyone have any to swap for beer tokens!!

Take them back to where you got them from , if they were brought for a mk 3,4 or 5 cortina they should fit. You didn't order mk2 cortina pads by mistake?

Did you front uprights come from a Cortina Estate ? -- it is just possible you have the odd ball pads that were only fitted to some hd estates.

see http://www.buypartsby.co.uk/brakes_front_display.php?txtmodel=CORTINA&Submit=Next&txtmake=FORD
