Tight fit

Anybody used the wider 2.25 coils with book bones. If I angle them and shape a few special brackets with off centre holes they may just go in with about 8mm clearance each side but it is tight. Curved top bones give more room of course but dion`t know if I could bend up some like MKs. Any ideas appreciated.

My car is fitted with 2.25 front springs and top wishbones modified to get the correct castor, I have about 8 to 10 mm clearance and have had no problems. My top mounts are on the side of the chassis rails rather than underneath , not sure if it makes any difference.

Thanks Paul. You`ve prolly got your top bones opened up a little more than mine.Have you managed to get the shockers plumb, although I don`t think it`s critical that they be absolutely vertical.
