Track Rod Lock Nuts
Hi all,
Just received my new quick rack and rod ends from Rally Design and......... oh bu%*er.....no lock nuts for the track rods!
Anyone know where I can get a pair from or what thread they are please?????

if its a metric rack,they're M14,
available from anynut/bolt supplier.
or if you have access to an M14 tap, just drill and tap some M12 Nuts to suit.

As Ray said M14, not a commonly stocked size. I got mine from a agricultural machinery company (oakes bros, Reading). Common size on farm equip
apparently.

how much easier would it be if new half nuts were suppliedwith a new rack - money piching barstools !!!
M14 x 2.0 if memory serves me well; not a common size.

I have a pair on the desk in front of me, about 35p each from the local Ford dealer and same as Sierra and later Escort racks use as well I think.
