Just curious - A-Arms

Why are the upper A-Arms not symmetrical? I know the book says this is the "built-in" caster, but couldn't the same thing be accomplished by adjusting the bracket locations?

It would seem to me that symmetrical
A-Arms would be easier to make by minimizing the number of angles to be cut.

Just curious.

Mine is not a book build so I can only answer in general terms....

Yes, the same can be done by the bracket location...providing, of course, that there is physically the room...

My upper 'A' arms are symmetrical.
