Removing brake servo - help!

I want to get rid of the brake servo (Capri) as I assume it is unnecessary on a car as light as the locost. Can anyone help with ideas or pics on how to attach the push rod from the pedal to connect with the master cylinder?

It depends on the master cylinder. Mine was a Teves (ATE) as fiited to Capris and Escorts, but I think Girling was more common and different. Mine had a push rod from the servo with a ball-shaped end that engaged with a socket recessed in the tube end of the piston. I fabricated a new rod the right length, held to the pedal with a clevis pin. I scrapped all of the servo bits, didn't see they were any use.

Thanks Jeff.

Did you need to attach the end of the rod to the socket in the master cylinder or fabricate any kind of bracket? Or was the pressure from the rod and pedal enough to keep it in place?
