Brake fluid warning light
My master cylinder and reservoir is Cortina non-servo. Works fine. However we have no fluid sensor on top. Any suggestions? My first thought was to
simply find a suitable cap with a sensor but that's not proving to be as easy as I expected - different threads - sensor 'fouling'
the reservoir etc.

Couldn't you just swap the reservoir and cap? The Sierra one is only a push fit...

If the two holes line up. Is there such a thing as a universal reservoir?

I had to swap my Sierra servo master cylinder for an non servo escort mark 2 as the brakes were rubbish. The eccy one was horizontal and didn't
have a switch in the cap whereas the Sierra was slanted and did.
Hunted around the scappie and found a sierra one that was a perfect match both in hole location and degree of angle slope.
Thus yes you will find one that will fit.
I used to be apathetic but now I just don't care.
