Tube for bushes - Help!

Hi,
I need to make my panhard rod and I can't seem to get hold of any of the tube that the bushes push into, the local steel supplier whilst very helpful didn't have any the right size.

Has anyone got enough tube spare to fit the Triumph Herald bushes that I could buy off them? I only need enough for the two ends of the panhard rod!
ta!

Thanks Jon, it's an option I guess, but I'd already bought the poly bushes before I realised I didn't have sufficient tubing!

I'd rather stick with the bushes rather than pay out more money, hasn't anyone else got any to spare???

The tube I'm after to fit the herald bushes needs to have an inside diameter of 13/16" (or approx 21mm).
I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this is what you have!!
cheers

I have a reasonable quantity of 12g 1" CDS, is this what you're after? If you're coming my way it'll save on postage.

can you not get a panhard rod from summat like a fiesta mk2 or mk3 - its ready made with bushes, and can be cut and welded if not right length.

Also, i doubt it HAS TO be tube......cant you fit some inch rhs instead?

Many thanks for the offers, I'll u2u u!

I was sticking to making my own as I have some 1" rhs and the bushes, but thanks for the other suggestions anyway, I probably spend more time on this site than working on the car, but the help everyone gives saves me time on the car (he says hopefully....)
