prop shaft woes
Managed to pick up a nice prop shaft for my velocity but due to slightly confusing wording turns out to be 3 inches too short. Anyone know a good
place to get it lengthened and balanced???? on the cheap of course!

A prop is a bit expensive to post, so it'd help people to help you if you'd fill the "location" tab in your account
preferences.
I've used Propshaft clinic in Bradford a couple of times, excellent work but a bit on the expensive side..

Why not put it in your profile... might be useful for future ref' in other posts like local Locost meetings.
As for the prop.... I'd be a bit unhappy about having an 'extra' weld on my prop as it's another point of failure in something
that's gonna do you a nasty if it fails... like chop off your leg!
What about selling it on to someone who needs a shorter prop and getting a new one made?
All the best,
James
