GTS wishbones, I'm slightly confused
Hi all,
I've just received my GTS wishbones from mistergrumpy, and I'm a little confused, the suspension mounting hole on the bottom wishbone is
12.5mm diameter, but I thought the suspension brackets are meant to have an 8 or 10mm hole, or has a bigger measurement replaced the book dimensions?
Or are suspension bush holes bigger than the others?
If anyone can help me out of my confusion I'd much appreciate it. Cheers
Matt

"the book" is different to most of the stuff on the market.
The GTS bones will be designed for aftermarket polybushes as sold by GTS et al which are 1/2" bore, unlike herald ones used in the book.
Retro RWD is the way forward...........automotive fabrication, car restoration, sheetmetal work, engine conversion
retro car restoration and tuning

Are you refering to the internal diameter of the crush tubes within the wishbone bushes, or to the coil-over mounting hole?
The "book" design uses Triumph Herald metalastic bushes, but virtualy all the kit manufacturers (including GTS) use a polyurethane bush
and a crush tube that requires an M12 bolt.
The shock mounting holes are either M12 or 1/2", can't remember of the top of my head.

yeah I was going to get the GTS polybushes. So it just means I have to alter the suspension brackets I make to 1/2" / M12 accordingly.
Cheers Guys!!

If you want to retain the 10mm holes then the bushes from lolocost will match up with them. As to their ability to supply these I am not sure where we
are in the supply but continuing saga of RH
