Ford Transit track rod end with M20 thread?

a friend told me he are using a Transit rod end with M20 thread. he said it fits the Cortina upright also well as the M18 typical.
is that correct? the conical part to connect with the upright is the same with both types of rod ends?

thks

Yep, tapers are the same. The book wishbones use the drag link which has an M18 thread.
