Does anyone know if an XR4x4 front upright will work on indy wishbones and inserts from MK?

who is a bit of an expert on sierra xr's. I think they dont have a top and bottom joint, they are side mounted?

See my reply to the same question in the For Sale section under cheapo 4x4.

If not, it went a bit like this...

"Nope - 4x4s have thicker struts so the hole for the inserts is bigger. Plus without the front driveshafts, the wheels would fall off!"

Plus, as steve has reminded me, the bottom ball joint is different. Has a pinch bolt fitting instead of a long taper cos there's not enough room with the driveshaft there.
