Speed sensor

Hallo,

I'm surching for the specifications from a speed sensor from a MT 75 gearbox.Wat I need is the pulses per revolution from the output schaft ( = propschaft ). And if posible the connections.

Try here.

Cant help directly with the amount of pulses per rev, but if you wire an LED up to the sensor wire, you can count them per wheel revolution.

Ford normally use 8000 pulses/mile. If you know your diff ratio and tyre size you should be able to make a fair guess as to the number of pulses you should get compared to the standard. I bought CAI/Smith speedo and they can give you advice on how to check your results by rolling the car over a set distance.
