a couple of bush questions
HI chaps,
as the title states really.
i have some wishbones that came with my chassis already with the bushes in them.
Some of the bushes are not very well put in and i would like to re-do them.
Is the crush tube supposed to be proud of the bush or flush or inside it?
is the bush supposed to turn in the tube attached to the wishbone or is the crush tube suposed to turn within the bush?
last but not least how much are we talking for a set of bushes from MK or the likes?

depends on the bushes. Rubber ones deform with no moving surfaces. Poly ones, the crush tube is proud and clamped tight in the bracket, the bush spins
on it.
MK bushes are around £2 each i think.

Hi,
My poly bush set is £12 cheaper than Mk's. Not sure if i added them to the site yet, but, there is a drawing that goes with them. Email me
offlist if you want some.
The tube should be proud of the bush and its the tube that moves inside the polybush.
Its not a very nice bushing solution really but the best compromise on the Locost with cost requirements as they are. Rubbers bushes are preferable
but hard to find now and more expensive i believe.
Kind regards,
Darren
