quick and simple question

can anyone tell me if the capri used the same uprights as cortina? and also the same brakes (m16)

Same brake (Girling M16) but I don't know about the upright.

I think the Capri used Macpherson struts on the front whilst the Cortina had a twin wishbone arrangement.

yep, i can confirm this. brakes and possibly hub are same but upright is not. seen them in the scrappy.

I believe, but could be wrong, that the capri 2.8 used vented disks (but the other models were solid), and that if you get the disks and calipers they'll bolt onto the cortina uprights.

Nice if you can get your hands on them.
But yes, I think they're mcpherson struts.
