Difference between Granny and Sierra callipers
Hi,
I've noticed a slight difference between the Sierra and Granada rear callipers I have.
The Granada have a small (2/3mm internal diameter) threaded hole next to/beneath the handbrake spring.
Anyone know what this is for or if it's at all relevent to anything?
Thanks,
James

They are the same part number for regular pads and the carriers are same, doubt its going make any difference.
Those calli's you had from newlands are the ones i put against my sierra ones, couldnt see any differenceon mine.

I've got a pair of each too and couldn't see any difference. Just picked the best two so I may even have Granny one side Sierra the
other. Perhaps it's just differences in the design between years?

Our sierra 4x4 calipers have the same threaded hole (sort of opposite the handbrake return spring stop bolt hole). Nothing was screwed into it.

Ah, but the question is:
what super-duper gadget were Ford intending to screw into it!
