Drive shafts 4x4

i am just about to bolt my 4x4 driveshaft to my diff etc.
Is there a supposed to be a gasket between all the flanges to stop the grease coming out?

cheers

the grease should be on the CV joints under the rubber boots and not between the flanges. I'd always use a smear of copper grease on the flange faces though, but no gasket as far as i am aware.

I've never found any gasket on any I've dismantled, but the haynes book recomments a little sealant between the joint and the cover (F + G above)
so I guess the same could apply at the other side of the joint, but a little grease should be enough
