Maxi swivel joint part numbers required
Just found out my second-hand bottom wishbones are designed to use the Maxi swivel joints, not the Cortina ones I’d bought.
Can anyone confirm what the Maxi part numbers are, what the model year is and whether these are "bottom ball joints"? My local supplier
recons they are no longer available……

MK Engineering supply Maxi ball joints with their Indy kit.
I'm sure they will be able to post a set to you.

Mark,
You sure you can't mod your wishbones/Cortina BJ's to fit?
I modified mine.
Benefit is Cortina BJ's from Lolocost are about £5/£7 a pair!

Got mine from our local motorfactors about a year ago
Ball joints, Maxi, Veco VB036; don't know what year through, just asked for Maxi bottom ball joints. Our wishbones are from Luego.

James - I looked at bodging the wishbones to fit, I'd have to move the bolt holes and enlarge the circular cut out so it's a non
starter.
Staple balls - I thought the Maxi ball joints at GTS were very expensive, then I saw how much they (over) charge for Cortina ones! Are they gold
plated?
Wicket - thanks for the info - hopefully one of my other local motor factors can get them by cross referencing your part number.
I'm hoping to finally get it rolling by the end of the year, so I'm keen to get the parts soon.
