More tyre advice please

OK... looks like it will be difficult to get wider tyres the same diameter as my current ones, so I am looking at getting the same asize as now.

Anyone any experience/opnions on the following (from BlackCircles.co.uk at reasonable price):

Toyo Proxes CF1
Falken Ziex ZE-912
Kumho KH15
Pirelli P6000

Cheers,

Simon

Proxes - I find crap in the wet ( I know they are supposed to be good, just my op)

Falken - good tyres imo, especially for the price

Khumo - no experience of these sorry

P6000 - superb imo but wear quickly (tin top - probably better on a locost)

I ended up getting Yokohama A539s for £47 a pop fitted (from my local place). The old ones were Yokohama A520s so I'm hoping for similar performance

After five years of on/off building, I'm about to buy wheels and tyres for my MK Indy.
I'm only aiming for road use, no intent of track days.
What tyres have you found to be the best on the road? I was thinking of Yokohamas (for no particular reason other than I had some that worked OK on my Pug 306)
Presumably a fairly soft compound is best?
Thanks.
