Ron's 'Wrong' Book
Mornin' all.
Trying to get the bones sorted in terms of sizes, and I am really getting conflicting info. The more I read, the more I'm confused
Everyone seems to say that the RC Book is wrong in terms of the measurements for the front suspension but no-one seems to say where it is wrong?
If anyone can shed some light I would be most grateful.
Also, there doesn't seem to be any measurements for the front suspension from the side (as in McSorley's diagrams).
It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

As far as I am aware, the top bone on the front wheels is not far enough back to give enough castor for centering your steering.
I seem to remember a measurement of 22mm difference.
Someone will be along to confirm wether they altered their bones or the mounting points.......
In the meantime, do a search for centering and you might find your answer there.

Thanks Stu. That's what I needed. I've looked at so much info and 'suspension design' programs etc. that I'm more
confused than when I started!
I guess it's best to go for the same materials as in the book too then? I did think of using 25mm for the tubes but not sure because I
don't know where I'm going to get my bushes and crush tubes yet.
