Original locost steering
Does the Escort steering rack fit unaltered in the Champion Locost?
It seems wrong to me!

Hi
Yep it fits without modification. And dependent upon position and accuracy it can have as little as 16 tho of bumpsteer over 3 inch of suspension
travel.
Cheers matt

Very basically put and in laymans terms. When the suspension on one side droops (camber of the road, potholes, whatever) it will drag the steering
rack with it and therefore the other wheel and the car will tend to pull to that side.
It is present in some production models to a degree and unless your car is way out, you'll most likely not notice or else just tolerate it. Not
to say you shouldn't try to eliminate it as much as during the build.
If you do a search you'll find loads on it.
