Mk1 Escort spacer question
I am told that to fit spacers on my Mk1 Escort axle I should use Anglia/Mk1 Escort ones rather than Mk2 escort / Cortina.
Is this correct? If so, what is the difference?
Thanks.

OOOOPs
Mk1 & Mk2 Cortina's had imperial. it was on mk3 Cortina that they went metric.

Does this imply that I could just change the studs to MK2 ones?

Just buy a Escort MK2 "competition" solid spacer kit -- includes the correct Metric studs to convert from 7/16" UNF
Ford wheel studs are a fairly tight interfrence fit and can be a swine to get propperly pulled/pressed home.
