Thread Size?
Am I correct in thinking that the thread size of the upper front ball joint into the wishbone is M18?
If not what is it and where could I get one of the lock nuts? from I've either managed to lose one or I never had it.
Cheers
Ken

I'd doubt it would be M18 (as in standard pitch)..more likely to be one of the finer pitches.
Best guess would be M18x1.5

yip its a fine thread, don't force a M18 nut on you'll struggle to get it off

For the transit upper swivel yes it's a M18*1.5
I know this cos it's the same as my wheel nuts and I used one of them to get the taper in the hole before putting the nylock on....

Hang on, the thread that screws into the upper wishbone is M18x1.5.
The balljoint thread, where the taper fits into the upright, is much smaller than that. I don't know that size offhand - but it certainly
isn't M18!
