Another Sierra Diff code question (sorry)

Sorry for asking what might sound like a dumb question. I have used a 1.8 sierra pinto and my diff code is 88BG 4033 AE. I know diff codes have been covered a few times on here but i can't find mine. Lol. Hope someone can help.....

its an awful lot easier with the code off the vin plate if you have it!

thats the second line of the code you've got (I think)
All I can tell you from that is its not and LSD

the last 3 digits of the first line are the ratio (e.g. 392 = 3.92)
but as above the axle code on the Vin should make it easy

as for the size of the diff (7" or 7.5" and type of shafts, they should be easy to spot in a pic if you need help with that
