Powdercoating Wheels

How much would it be to get a set of 15" wheels powder coated black. Seen some wheels on ebay that i think would look good black. Would powder coating work on wheels? and would it look ok?

Thanks

Got mine powdercoated black by a company called lap-tab in Birmingham.

They're on the web.

They turned out looking pretty good (I think) like this:

A local company quoted me £15 a wheel with a zinc undercoat (?) first. The only condition was that I had the wheels blasted first.
No connection.

Hopefully they mean a chromate primer - the usual stuff is a 2-pack etch primer that leaves a greeny-yellow colour that sticks like the proverbial.
Not stuff you want to use at home, as it's isocyanate based . Mind you, I do have some, but I brush it...

David
