Experience with Brakes International?

Does anyone have experience with Brakes International? They seem so cheap, compared to all the rest.
Since I live in Holland, the shipping costs are something like 80 UKP (!!!!!) (or so they say), but even then, they are still cheaper for a complete set of Sierra Cosworth 2wd discs all-around, and a set of rear pads! It is almost suspicious.........

But somehow 80 UKP shipping-costs feels wrong, that means 1/3 of the total price is for shipping....

that postage is rather high, have you got any weight info for it? you might find it works out better to have someone over here forward them on to you

I have ordered from them, they were extremely helpful on the phone, threw in extra bleed nipples for no cost and cortina split-caliper o-rings (the somewhat elusive ones) for well below advertised price. Everything arrived quickly as ordered.. only slight problem was the caliper overhaul kits got a bit squashed by brake disks moving around in transit and burst one of the grease packets.

All in all though I'd use them again and reccomend them.

I got my Cortina overhaul kit from them, ordered one day arrived the next (that is very impressive considering my location!!).

I found them very cheap, friendly and easy to deal with. Definite thumbs up from me.

Me too, I got Sierra caliper repair kits and pistons, Rover SD1 clutch slave cylinder, SD1 clutch m/cyl repair kit, Fiat Uno brake bias valve and a few other bits and pieces. They threw in the bleed nipples for free as I forgot to order them at the time. Unfortunately these were the wrong size but it is the thought that counts as they say... I didn't have the heart to complain!

They are very cheap and deliver on time. Their website is a bit strange but okay once you get the idea...

Cheers,
Craig.
