quick rack
Hi,
After taking the indy out for the very first time (V-Illegal...... but shedloads of fun!) It was immediately clear that the steering rack (modified
sierra) is /WAY/ to slow for the car, so i'm looking to buy a quick rack. I've only found two suppliers:
1) quaife, but there seem to be troubles with manufacturing, although these might be solved already. Pricey though, and they don't seem to do a
LHD version (which i need)
2) rally design. They do a reasonably priced rack (but from an unknowm make to me) and a LHD version. Cheap als (40 pounds)
So, has anyone got experience with the rallydesign quickrack?
or, does anyone know where to get one in LHD and fairly cheapish?
Thanks,
Sebastiaan

Yep, used the rally design sierra quickrack in my sierra road rally car and in my RWD Peugeot 205, both good no problem. Not aircraft quality but does
the jobjust fine!

I'm using the rally design escort quick rack and seems to be top notch quality. They were also very helpful when I bought my discs in that they
sent me some caliper spaces free of charge.

I have fitted the Rally Design rack and worm gear into my existing Mk II Escort rack. Needed setting up correctly, but I think it was only 36 quid
plus the VAT so can't grumble.
