Bias bar thread size

Can anyone tell me the size of the bias bar as its dificult to get to mine and i need to buy some lock nuts for IVA.

When you say lock nuts, what exactly do you mean. I don't think nylocs are allowed, but I might be wrong

Yes nylocs. the chap at nottingham that does the testing said that the rules are, if you cannot adjust the bar without using tools then that is a pass.
He went on to say that at nottingham they dont agree with drilling the bar because if it was adjusted on a track in the future it could end up with the drill hole lining up with where the pressure is put and could weaken it, also they complained to vosa about welding it as they thought like most of us that as it is a tensile bar welding it would weaken it.
so he told me to take it for the test with lock nuts or 2 nuts locked together which cannot move unless you use tools, oh and to put a sticker on it like it says in the iva manual.
