What I learnt tonight......

mx5 driveshafts do like to be separated from their outer cv joints

volvo 850 driveshafts don't mind being separated from their outer cv joints, if you know how to do it....... I didn't and learnt the hard way

Howdy,

Mx5 outer cv, hub and upright with 850 shafts. Plan is to cut/sleeve and weld the mx5 outer to the 850 inner untill i can get custom shafts made.

It will be a standard mx5 outer cv, they start to fail at around 350HP in an mx5 apprently so should just be ok in my car weighing less.

Anyway, if a component lasts more than one race its too heavy isn't it
