Slicks
Does anyone know of a race series that uses 14" slicks. I know Avon make them so somebody must use them. It would just be useful as I have eight
14" wheels.

Sorry, you tempted me into it, AND I only bought three. That makes it twelve including the 13" steels which don't fit, I really should
take them to the dump (sorry, civic amenity centre as it is now called).

Sorry I don't, but when you do find the source of the slicks (try the rally supply places as we used to use them on my mate's tarmac rally
car a few years ago) check the prices, it may be cheaper to get some 15" wheels by the time you have bought a lot of tyres! (that's what
we did in the end, plus s/h slicks from the "change them every run" type boys are a lot more common in 15"........sorry if you do
that!!)

I have found out that dunlop make them, 185/555 14 OR I could get some 175/60 14 (175/560 14) CR311s. I dont know which would be cheaper or give more
grip.
The only thing with getting 15s is I need to stick as close to 22" overall diameter as poss and the smallest 15" slicks I have found so
far are 190/580 15 (clio cup)
