sierra bleed screws

just went to order some new ones, the ones on my calipers are crusty, and 'painted' by whoever i bought them from. not sure this is a brilliant idea to paint them, so i thought to buy some new ones. i noticed they have the same thread as the brake hose input port. i have my calipers behind the axle, so the inlet and bleed screw are just about level, witht he input being very slightly higher. i can make it higher by undoing the top bolt, and rocking it back slightly.

is there any benefits or is it a terrible idea to swap them round? it could be quite useful. also because my brake hoses are slightly too long, by only a very small amount, and it will also help to lose some of the length too

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!

I would suggest that it is all to do with where the drilling comes out in the cylinder. if you pull a piston out and have a look at which hole is the highest - in the position you will have it mounted - that's the hole for the nipple.
