Minilite style wheels
I'm interested in getting some minilite style wheels for my Indy but am not sure what size/make to go for or where to buy them from.
So, opinions please - who make the best ones, what size would suit the car best and where's the cheapest place to buy them?
Ta,
Pete

I bought a second hand set of caterham, wheels. They are KN Minators, but are essentially an identical copy of a minilite. Mine are 14" with
yoko a539's..
The caterham offset is slightly different, but should make the track fractionally wider which doesn't bother me.

Pete,
14" as in my previous post?!
Tyres are 185/60's, so I'm guessing hte rims are 5.5 or 6" wide.
Offsets are apparantly et18/23 front/back as they came off a dedion caterham.

Duuuh, sorry Ned! It's still too early for me and my brain is having a bit of difficulty this morning!
Very nice wheels, definitely want some for mine now! (Well, I will for at least 5 minutes, I'm very fickle like that...)
Cheers

What would be the best size to go for? I've heard that 15" rims with 195/50 tyres are the best for an Indy, anyone got any views on
this?

Yes, thats about right but you can go for whatever you like with different ratio diffs. If you are going for absolute minimum weight then go for
compomotive MLs. You pay a premium but it is worth it.
Ned
I bought some 6x14 Kn Jupiters off a guy on blatchat and they are the same offset front to back (ET19).

OK so Compomotive ML 15" wheels look like a good deal, next question - does a 195/50 tyre fit better on a 15x6" or 15x7" rim?

Are you sure about that? Their website only mentions 15x6 and 15x7

Email them and ask them for a price list. It comes in picture format. I'm sure they do.

Yeah I saw that but unfortunately they don't come in the offset I need - I need E38
