Tyres Tyres Tyres.....
Its time for a set of 4 for the locost again, I currently run 185 60 13's, but the side walls have started to crack (6 years on the road
though). I want to increase the ground clearance a little and improve the handling (reducing the scrub angle to what Ford intended) so am
contemplating moving to 185 70 13's or even 175 70 13's (which can be bought VERY cheaply)
Any comments/alternatives?

Hi,
i had the samee problem last year, im using toyo 350 in 185x70x13, seem ok, not your out and out racer, 140.00 4 4, have heard yokohama ao21 r good
for road use and some track, not that hard wearing though, george polley is the main supplier, circuit boys r getting good results with these, bit
dearer though. hope this helps, andy

I can get Avon ZV1's for £29.00 in 175 70 13, but 185's are £41 - will I feel and discernible difference?
