ABS

I have just discovered that the donor Sierra I bought a year ago has ABS - not quite sure how I missed that before other than I have never really examined either my car or any other Sierra particularly closely before.

Anyway, I do not intend to use ABS on the car I will build (unless someone tells me it is really easy to incorporate etc. - I know the advantages/disadvantages of having it) so just want to know if all the brake bits will be OK without abs or if I need to buy anything to replace the bits I have.

I have a complete Metro pedal assembly I was thinking of using which has a servo and master cylinder included - hopefully I can connect this somehow to the Sierra bits on the wheels.

IMHO all the calipers, disks hubs etc are compatible. The driveshafts have "teeth on the wheel end that can be lathed off if nessesary but not essentially and the hubs carriers have holes for the sensors but otherwise are again similar. Dont see why you can`t try using the pedal kit you have, you will need some piping to connect to the sierra bits
