7" diff V 7.5" diff width across drive flanges
ok so I currently have a 7.5" diff fitted, it was very cheap, so I went for it, now to save weight and also I wouldl ike the smaller size Im
looking at sourcing a 7" diff
what I want to know is if the distance across the output flange on bolt on shaft diffs is the same
ie, will I have to make new shafts if I swap from a 7.5 bolt up diff, to a 7" bolt up diff?
heavy is good, heavy is reliable, and if it breaks, hit them with it

when I swapped my 71/2 for a 7 inch diff the only differance was the 1/2 inch spacer needed for the top mount on the 7 inch diff. No need to change
the shafts ( bolt on type)
