Inner tie rod replacement help...
Anyone know where I can buy the inner tie rods for my mk2 steering rack. It's a quick rack and has no play but the rack ends are trashed after
welding extensions up which don't fit my new tiger :-(
I've looked about but without success..... Has anyone changed the tie rods before.....
Thanks

Picture would be handy, showing the parts that are stuffed. Cheers Ray

Have you tried talking to Rally Design, as they sell the mk2 quick racks...

Hence the replacement
Would be ok for track day but not for road use

if its done properly i cant see the issue. a prop is welded and fly round at stupid rpm.

But a propshaft it isn't a slender strut in compression, and RWD Propshafts are generally seamed welded low carbon mild steel not high
tensile medium carbon steel.
