Stopping Power!
I've just taken the brake calipers and discs of my sierra donor, and even though they could be used they look crap. I know i dont need that much
stopping power because the MK will only be half the weight of the original car, but i'd like some nice looking pads and discs. Say vented and
grooved cos they look cool! What do you suggest?

If I remember correctly sierra 4x4 (ghia or xr4x4) have vented front discs, I expect you could get grooved / drilled ones.
it's a bit of a contradiction in terms to say you don't think you need much stopping power, but you want grooved and vented discs.
I'd say go with the sierra ones, clean and paint them if you want them to look pretty. it seems silly to deliberately fit less effective
brakes.. various people on here aren't happy with the effectiveness of their standard cortina / sierra brakes and pay mucho wonga for wilwoods
or whatever.
(though many people are happy with the standard brakes. mostly track nuts who feel the need for uprated brakes)
