despite the warnings on the hamerite can regarding heat etc, some people on here have had no problems with it on calipers or drums - i personally have
never tried.

FOLIA TEC
paint is ok - but a little expensive @£20
but should do a few drums & callipers - demon tweeks etc.

brake paint
1,000 miles so far and the Hammerite hasn't shown any signs of coming off the discs, calipers or drums.I've thinned it very very slightly
before brushing on.I've used it on the engine block also.I have only once brought "Engine/brake enamel" and ended up back with
Hammerite. It is the genuine Hammerite i've used, varying degrees of sucess with the much cheaper copies. At £4.99 in a local bargain shop you
can't go wrong.
..Which was nice..

We got this stuff and it is quite expensive. However, the paint resists brake fluid and after lots of use still looks like new.

I bought Folia Tec, but haven't used the callipers one a car yet. I'm happy with the finish though. It's supplied in a kit with a
cleaning solution, the paint and a hardener. It's quite tough.
A bit of slapstick never hurt anyone.

Neither Folia Tec nor Hammerite are satin finish though. Halfords do a satin finish high temperature black paint for panting engine blocks etc. Used
it on my MR2's front calipers and it seems to have stayed on very well.
