Rose is the name of the original inventor. If you try a bearing supplier and ask for spherical bearings you can buy a copy for about a third of the
price of real ones. I bought 8 M12's and paid about £6 each for them. I got the cheap ones but afterwards when I asked I could have had ones with
teflon for about £1 per bearing more. This was 2 years ago so add inflation. The more you bought the cheaper they got.

Rally design have accessories which should make these joints last longer on a road car - well worth considering.
I've been trying to figure out the best way of using these with Cortina / Manta uprights any one got experience or ideas on this?

Rose Joints
Ive noticed a lot of more expensive suspension setups using rose joints. can anyone tell me what the real benefit of them is.

Rose joints will latteraly and longitudally stiffen up suspension components that are usually furnished with rubber bushes .as there is no "give" in
the rose joint, the suspension set up wil give a harsher ride but more responsive steering . a rose jointed suspension will be fuly adjustable and
this affect is essential for race track cars
