Just thought I would...
Just thought I would check the bearing would fit on the steering pinion for the quick rack I'm building
I tried a few days ago, it was to tight
Put pinion in the freezer, tried again, close but no cigar
Put bearing on the radiator, pinion back in the freezer and left it
Tonight, thought I would just check,
bearing slipped half way on then stopped
PANIC
No shoes on, put them on, run out to workshop, can't find the light switch
Pinion in vice, find box spanner, drift the bearing on the rest of the way
And Breath
I eat to survive
I drink to forget
I breath to pi55 my ex wife off (and now my ex partner)

I used the hot air gun on some bearings I was fitting on the scooter and it does a good job of warming them up.
yours, Pete
I went into the RSPCA office the other day. It was so small you could hardly swing a cat in there.
